This Week’s Top Instagram Posts from the #Appalachiantrail

Welcome to our weekly roundup of the most spectacularly beautiful, hilariously entertaining, and all-around best photos taken on the Appalachian Trail this past week.

This week featured photos taken from 7/4/18-7/11/18 and were found by perusing the hashtag #TrektheAT. A thorough point based grading system is used to pluck out the very best for your viewing pleasure. Dog photos are always favored.

I will never complain about hiking in cold weather ever again.

Fantastic photos! Always look forward to them. However, it’s a bummer to showcase a photo not following LNT principles. We should only be taking memories and photos on our journeys. The flowers are pretty, but what’s truly beautiful is how they grow, thrive, and interact with their natural environment.
