I wear a few hats. I'm a journalist, an activist, and my day job is Administrator of a mosque here in Houston. I love the feeling of carrying just what I need on my back and sleeping in a tent. My two favorite sounds are cicadas in August and the wind blowing through the tops of tall pine trees. I also love the Real Housewives shows and online solitaire. As I said, I wear a few hats.
