A Chance Encounter

A path driven by chance, is a path worth taking

Setting out from Boulder, Colorado on a weeklong road trip, the crew was ready for anything.

With the destination set just above the Mexican border for a screening of As It Happens: Pacific Crest Trail, we had point A and point B. The rest was up to the road.

The journey to California marked a spring revival. Treating the road as a remote ribbon, an unplanned path where and taking in the moment is priority.

On the way back to Boulder a spirit intersected with this sentiment.

Stopping at the South Rim of the Grand Canyon we picked up a hitch hiker. Continuing east, five miles from the paved road, we set up camp inside Utah’s red desert. On this final night out, she played her song…
