~The Final Countdown~

Well here it is folks, 8 days stand between myself and the start of another epic adventure i’ve been dreaming of ever since i first stepped foot off the Appalachian Trail in 2015. I just got back from a 90 mile warm up hike along the AT from Kent, CT into MA finishing at Upper Goose Pond cabin. It was so great to get back out and follow some White Blazes again and had some sunny weather.img_6400

Now for the Surprise I’ve been waiting to tell! This year I will be hiking the PCT, not only that but if i finish in a reasonable time i will go ahead and attempt the CDT sobo! Im super excited about these plans and if my cards are dealt right I know I can complete them. If I make this happen I will successfully have my TRIPLE CROWN. Something I have been dreaming about ever since I learned about the 3 major long trails in the U.S

In the mean time ill be counting down my days..

Whats good!! Im Erick but you can just call me Styles. I live in a small 45 min outside of Boston, MA. My love for hiking and just being outside all started when i was young after climbing Mt. Washington NH. Most of my hiking is in NH and Vermont mountains, and hiked the Appalachian Trail (AT) in 2015. This year I'm going to attempt a PCT-CDT calendar year hike. follow along for this crazy adventure!!
