AT Gear List: These Boots and Socks Will Work, Right?

Froggy’s flip-flop AT 2018 gear list base weight: 17.07 pounds

Here is my obligatory gear list. Sadly I won’t be hiking in glitter Doc Martens and gnome socks, but hopefully I can still complete the trail without them. As far as actual gear goes, I got lucky because my husband already had the tent, cook system, watch, and the Delorme, so I didn’t have to purchase these specifically for the trail. Froggy—best of luck. Excellent equipment choices—especially since it is almost identical to mine!. I’m on the fence–have to make a decision today– about a NOBO or a Flip Flop….perhaps I’ll see you out there! Best of luck!

      Capn’Nemo,

Thanks so much! It is funny, a lot of the gear lists are pretty identical. Best of luck with your decision, either way it’ll be epic. I’m obviously partial to flip flops, but as long as you’re out there hiking I don’t care what direction you’re headed. We’re still one big family, right? I hope to see you out there too, happy trails!
